What is a Life Group?

The Life Group ministry at Petra is the "heart" of our ministry, pastoring believers of different levels of spiritual maturity.

Led by trained believers, every Life Group consists of 4 to 15 Christians who meet weekly in homes, on the job, or wherever they choose.

A Life Group is a team with a focus. It carries out the same mission of Petra... to make, mature and mobilise disciples.

Life Groups are a great way to reach out to the unsaved and MAKE DISCIPLES A Life Group is a friendly place to fellowship, developing supportive relationships with other believers, and growing in relationship with God through knowledge of the Word. Bible study lessons are shared with real life applications.

Life Groups are a great way to MATURE DISCIPLES.

The goal of each group is to coach believers to take an active role in the church and to encourage them for Life Group leadership.

Life Groups are a great way to MOBILISE DISCIPLES.

Life Groups bring life. Life Groups reach out to the community. Life Groups are fun. Life Groups are about relationships. Life Groups enrich and nurture both body and spirit.
